Before Christmas, the MLMC Young People's Group chose to have their Christmas meal once again at Nandos in The Westgate Centre in Oxford city centre.
The staff were so friendly last year that it encouraged the members to want to return this year. The staff did not let us down this time and did everything they could to make the meal a really great success!
One member of staff was so friendly that the young people decided to interview her about her time at Nandos, and to find out more about life in the workplace:
Her name was Asia. She had worked in a clothing store before but much preferred working at Nandos.
She went to The College Of Oxford to study business studies.
She had been recruited by Nandos at a National Citizen Service event and had been working there for 14 months.
She liked it very much as she liked being with people and got free meals!
The best thing was free food, the worst thing was rude customers. She earns £8.25 an hour and is paid weekly, which she liked.
The group all joined in the interview process and did a great job! Well done MLMC Young People’s Group!
