People with Learning Disabilities in World War 1

16 February 2018

Over the past 18 months, members of the Power Up team have been carrying out research into the contribution people with learning disabilities made during World War 1, in partnership with Lee Humber from Ruskin College.

We are excited to be able to present our findings at a presentation and exhibition evening.

The event will be at The Old Library, Oxford Town Hall, St Aldate's, Oxford, OX1 1BX  on Monday 26th February at 5:00-6:30 pm.  There will be a short presentation by the Power Up Team about their research findings at 5:30pm and an exhibition of their photos from along the way.

Anybody is invited to come along and find out more about what we have been up to. You are welcome to turn up unannounced on the night, but it would be helpful if you could let Jess Tilling ([email protected] ) know if you plan to attend.
