Our names are Ben, Jack, Louise and Paul.

We are part of My Life My Choice’s (MLMC) Jobs and Money team.

We have been selected by the other trustees to make the day to day decisions on how MLMC is run.

The Jobs and Money team look after the charity’s money.

We also make decisions about how we spend that money.

Normally we have our Jobs and Money team meeting every week in the office.

But ever since April we have had to have those meetings online.

At first, sorting out our online meetings was a struggle.

We wanted to use Zoom but some of us had problems using it.

Thankfully, Paul said we should try Facebook Messenger. He set the group up for us.

Since then, our online meetings have been going well.

Louise has had to 'shield' from the Coronavirus so it has been great that she has been part of our meetings.

It is very important for us to continue these meetings online because…

1. We need to make decisions for the charity and keep it running,

2. We need to continue supporting our members and keeping them up to date with what’s happening,

3. We need to keep each other safe whilst we do it.

4. It gives us a chance to catch-up and see how each other are.

We’ll be having our Jobs and Money meetings online until it is safe for us to meet in person.

We have other meetings online too. Like…

Ben’s Co-Production meetings with Oxfordshire County Council,

Paul’s interviews on the radio and TV,

And our full Trustee meetings.
