Hello, my name is Edward Gray, but you can call me Ed if you see me around the office.

I’m the new Power Up Officer at My Life My Choice so I’ll be working alongside Lisa and Jess.

During my first month, I’ve been joining the other staff as they show me some of the things we do at My Life My Choice.

I’ve been out  to do some Travel Buddy Training and went to the Oxford College Self-Advocacy Group.

I went to the Champions Meeting with Imogen last week to talk about the protest we have planned in London about the Whorlton Hall scandal.

I helped Lisa lead the Henley Self-Advocacy Group in Henley.

I even joined Yazz and some of the members on the group outing to the Pitt Rivers Museum.

I also went to sit on the Oxfordshire County Council Co-Production board with Ben and I went to London with Pam to join a focus group about sexual safety.

I’ve very much enjoyed working here so far. My work is really fun and no two days are the same.

In the future I’ll be working together with our Experts by Experience on Care and Treatment Reviews (CTRs).

I’ll also be helping much more with the Travel Buddy Scheme.

I’ve had a chance to meet quite a lot of the members now, but I’ll be going to all the self-advocacy groups in good time so I’ll be meeting a lot more.
