Over the last few weeks several members of MLMC, Pam and Ruby, have been working hard on updating our Power Up Webpage and training courses.

This work was funded as part of a project we’re doing with Barod to create a social enterprise and to employ and people with learning disabilities.

As part of this project, we wanted to help people with learning disabilities develop skills and get paid for their work, so this is what we did!

Ruby and Pam worked with Lisa, our Power Up officer, to develop the social enterprise side of Power Up and update website to mean people can buy training courses more easily.

They developed the material for training courses and designed how the website should look.

Ruby then used coding skills she had learnt at GoGirl to support the others to make their vision a reality.

The webpage now has lots of new functions including different sections for the different bits of Power Up, and information on the training courses we will offer.

We think the girls have done a great job and are really pleased with how the website looks.
