My Life My Choice (MLMC) members have been worried and upset by what is happening in Ukraine.

Members said that they felt sad for people in Ukraine and wanted to do something to help.

They wanted to speak up, show solidarity and speak out against the war.

Members also wanted to raise awareness about how people with disabilities are more affected by the war, as they are not able to leave or access support as easily as those who do not have disabilities.

MLMC decided to do a fundraiser at Stingray Nightclub on the 5th of April.

The entrance fee and donations would go to Inclusion Europe, who will ensure the money goes to people with learning disabilities, their carers and families.

It was a big success and the members gave what they could in support.

So far they have raised £300. If you would like to donate then please do so here.

Why not do your own fundraiser to support people with learning disabilities affected by the war?
