What is your name?

My name is Rachael

When did you start at My Life My Choice?

I started on the 4th October, 2021.

What do you do at My Life My Choice?

I am the Travel Buddy Coordinator. I train people with learning disabilities to teach others how to travel to places they want to go.

What is your favourite thing to do in your free time?

I like spending time and having fun with my family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors, going for walks and cycling.

What is your favourite meal?

My favourite meal is a roast dinner

What’s your favourite movie or TV series?

At the moment I am enjoying watching The Mandalorian with my family. I love Grogu!

What has made you smile recently?

My kitten makes me smile because she is cute and crazy!

What is your favourite part of working at MLMC?

My favourite part of working at MLMC is seeing people feel happy when they have gained the skills and confidence to do a journey on their own

What does a day at My Life My Choice look like?

A typical day at MLMC might be arranging travel buddies for people, go ing out on journeys with travel buddy trainers and trainees, arranging training and workshops, talking to people about Travel Buddy and doing work on my computer.
