In the few years that we have been running our Travel Buddy project, we have learnt that learning to travel independently is about so much more than being able to take the bus.

Katie is 19 years old and works at the Oxford Yellow Submarine café once a week. Before being part of Travel Buddy, her mum drove her to work. But after a couple of months of doing the journey with her Travel Buddy, Dawn, she can now do the journey alone.

Rebecca is 28 years old and volunteers at a local florist once a week.

We only met Dean about 8 months ago, but with his can-do attitude and passion for bus travel, he has become a fantastic Travel Buddy trainer.
