You might be wondering why we've been so quiet on here - it's because we've also been blogging for Quality Compliance Systems (QCS).

QCS help health and social care organisations to support people better, and we've been helping them to do that by sharing the perspectives of people with learning disabilities.

We shared what our hope and dreams for 2018 are.

We asked "Can an NHS England Learning Disability Director bring the change we have all been waiting for?"

We reflected on how services need to be different in order to offer people choice, and talked more about our visit for FarmAbility.

We explained that charities and other health and social care organisations need to listen to service users.

We addressed the question asked by Frank Field MP - Could People with Disabilities Be Paid Less Than the Minimum Wage?

We reflected on an NDTi workshop and thought about how we all have a role to play in improving the health of people with learning disabilities.

We shared what we like about our lives, and what we would miss if we went into an Assessment and Treatment Unit.
