Co-production is not a new idea, it just means working together to change or improve something.

It can also mean problem-solving together.

However, for lots of people and organisations it is a new way of working so it can be difficult to know where to start.

There is no single way co-production; it will look different each time.

This is because the ‘problem’ that needs solving and the group of people involved in solving it will be different each time.

This Handbook was designed by the Co-production Oxfordshire over two years.

MLMC member Ben is a member of the Co-Production Board.

The handbook is designed to help anyone do co-production, whether they are new to it, or have years of experience.

It shares the key ideas and ways of doing things that make co-production work.

This handbook is available to anyone to use and you can download it here:

There will be a celebration event to launch the handbook at County Hall on 16th October 2019

The event is 11am-2 pm and there will be cupcakes and talking about co-production.

The Co-production team said

“We hope you find our Handbook useful. We would love to hear your comments or feedback, especially if you have a story to share about the co-production you are doing."
