Power Up!
We are the My Life My Choice Power Up! team. We offer Training, Easy Read and Consultation.
Training
Our Power Up! trainers with learning difficulties are available to train you and your organisation. Subjects include Disability Awareness, Disability Discrimination Act and Self Advocacy.
Social and healthcare staff training
We do this every two months. Our trainers make the sessions fun as well as informative. It really changes how staff think.

One-off training
We also do one-off training and talks. For example, we gave a lecture to nurses and students at Oxford Brookes University. And we are involved in Person Centred planning across Oxford.
Easy Read
Our Power Up! team can make your documents easy to read and accessible to everyone.
Consultation
Power Up! has been commissioned by the Commission of Social Care Inspection to inspect Social Care homes and Local Authorities. Our team of trained 'experts by experience' and supporters work in London and South East England.
